OUR STORY
Mine brewing company started in 2019, creating & testing recipes ready to launch in 2020 (a bad year for the pub trade…!). It all started in a 20ft shipping container and this only changed in late 2024 when Mine upgraded their kit & moved into a disused building across the road from the beloved container.
The brewery is based in an old mining area of St Ives; Consols, being located here inspires most of our beer names &, obviously, the brewery name!
The brewery was set up from a passion of beer drinking & brewing processes, by James & Elise Worrall and Shane & Janet Andrews. Since then Andre Hitchinson, a home brewing aficionado, joined the team bringing a wealth of knowledge to produce some exceptional beers.
Mine will never sell a beer they would not be happy to drink themselves!
The Mine Brewing Company produces un-fined & unfiltered beers in a variety of styles. Bridging the gap between traditional real ales & modern day craft beer.
